Spiral Flow Test Molds

spiral flow moldsSpiral Flow Test molds approved by the Epoxy Molding Materials Institute (E.M.M.I.) and the Society of the Plastics Industry (S.P.I.) for measuring the flow of thermoset-type molding compounds under specified conditions.  The spiral flow length is 103" with one inch indicators. --- Top ---

ASTM Mold Test Sets

ASTM test moldsA single, universal mold set can be used for fast transfer molding of all A.S.T.M. test specimens.  Each universal set includes 2" and 4" dia. discs (1/8" thick), two “Dogbone” tensile test specimens, and a 1/2" x 1/2" x 5" (long) tensile bar convertible to 1/4" x 1/2" x 5".  Special hardened ground top and bottom plates are bolted to universal press heating platens.  Also available is an injection mold test set, incorporating a variety of test parts in a single mold base. --- Top ---

Semiconductor encapsulation molds

encapsulation moldsLeading supplier of encapsulation molds for the semiconductor industry.  Conventional molding capabilities include tooling for SOIC, TQFP, SSOP and LED packages.  The latest “multi-plunger” tooling can be integrated into existing automatic or manual molding presses. --- Top ---

Opto-electronic ⁄ Fiber optic molds

Mold tooling for the semiconductor, medical, automotive and electronics industries.  Production and development tooling capabilities for both thermoset and thermoplastic materials can be supplied.  High cavitation molds for the growing demand for capacitor type devices NDC's designers incorporate features to minimize mold base footprint, to allow for maximum mold flow and increased cavitation for optimum yields per cycle. --- Top ---

Trim &Form molds

This trim press line is designed to meet the post mold trim/form requirements of the electronics and semiconductor industries, and is available from one ton bench top thru 12 ton four post. Key features include:
  • Unrestricted access to the die area from all sides
  • Automatic load/off load
  • Enclosed electrical and hydraulic circuitry
  • Basic PLC control
  • Full safety guarding
  • Light screen

BGA/QFM flipchip chipscale molds

The patented molding system for ball grid array assemblies offers universal capabilities for virtually all BGA and MAPs.  The system allows for changes in package size from cycle to cycle with minimal down time.  Development in flipchip and chipscale type devices along with under fill needs are also part of our ongoing efforts in this latest encapsulation technology. --- Top ---

Injection & Insert molds

injection moldsPrecision tooling for the thermoplastic injection industry including supply cam action, insert tooling and hot runner systems.

With over forty years of experience in the design and building of tools for the thermoplastic and thermoset injection molding industry, we have developed expertise in design and manufacturing from modular tooling (custom or standardized frame styles) to fully dedicated multi-cavity/multi-drop hot runner systems.

We have designed and built hundreds of cam action injection tools for the coil/bobbin industry.  Many tools were built for engineering grade polymers, such as L.C.P.  Our insert tools range from leadframe style to semi-automatic loaded singulated terminals for multi-cavity tools.

Each injection tool designed on AutoCad and manufactured in a state-of-the-art CNC manufacturing facility.  All tools are inspected and tested for customer compliance prior to installation at our customer's facility.  Our tools are manufactured from various types of materials ranging from high strength alloy to pre-aged steels. --- Top ---

Coil & Bobbin molds

bobbin molds

Coil and bobbin molds suitable for use with a wide range of engineering plastics, in both standard and thin wall configurations.

Our facilities and press capacity, 25 to 200 tons, can handle contract assembly.

Utilizing the latest in engineering software, we can help our customers with product design thru manufacturing.  Our in-house design staff has the capability to assist customers with part design.  With over thirty years experience and a design staff with seventy-five years combined experience, we can offer our customers the technical assistance they require. --- Top ---

Fuel Cell component molds

Compression and injection molds for the development of fuel cell technology.  Future demands for battery replacement in notebook PC's, web based cell phones and hand held computers will create a large demand for the technology.  Our engineers are versed in the latest fuel cell technology. --- Top ---

Rapid Prototyping

Stereolithographic Anatomical (SLA ) modeling gives us the ability to turn your concept into reality through rapid prototyping.

Customer approved SLA computer models are programmed into the high precision machining centers to build rapid prototype molds; typical turn-around time: less than 48 hours.  Utilizing the in-house lab facilities, our experienced team will use the molds to provide a short run of molded parts. --- Top ---

Electrode Manufacturing

copper electrodes      graphite electrodes

Complete in-house design and manufacturing capabilities to produce electrodes from a customer's solid part models.  We can supply 3R or EROWA fixturing or work from customer fixturing to produce graphite or copper electrodes using high speed milling technology. --- Top ---

Nanotechnology

In the world of Nanotechnology there are different definitions of “small”.  Our latest investment in nano technology has enabled us to machine the smallest of features in various types of materials.  Our hard machining center is capable of milling and drilling holes as small as 0.005.  This technology has allowed us to machine features barely visible to the naked eye. --- Top ---

Molding Supplies

Thermal Mode Jackets
Durable asbestos-free, incombustible thermal mold jackets offer energy savings and and substantial improvement in product quality due to a more balanced mold temperatures.  The modular design of each jacket makes it easy to install and remove for cleaning.
